At the child health clinic, we monitor and support a child's physical, mental and social development and provide vaccines in accordance with the national vaccination programme.
It is also our objective to support the interaction between the child and the parent, the growth of the parents into parenthood and their relationship, as well as to promote the family's social support network.
We help parents to find ways to solve the family's problems and to trust their own abilities as upbringers. We offer health check-ups, screening examinations, guidance and counselling.
If necessary, we will organise additional appointments for the child or the family, refer them to further examinations or within the scope of other support. The family’s clientship at the child health clinic will continue from the beginning of the pregnancy until the child goes to school.
